Technical Print Manager My client, a multinational leader in paper manufacturing for corrugated products, with 8.000+ employees and presence all over Europe, distributed into three business areas: paper fabrication, recovery of recyclable materials and corrugated carton boxes with a turnover of approximately 2 billion Euros wants to incorporate a Technical print Manager into their site in the North East Direct reports: As applicable in Production, Customer Services, Design Office No. of team members organizational dependency Between 4-10 The role: Achieve the short, medium and long-term results and objectives of the plant in accordance with the plantA s print strategy. Tasks / Functions / main responsibilities: Specific Tasks: Application of Group and local policies and procedures Responsible for producing high quality print in line with market and customer demands. Main Responsibilities: Co-operate in drawing up the strategic print plan for the plant with the Plant Manager. Assist in defining the necessary action plans in order to achieve the results and objectives Supervise its implementation and establish corrective actions if needed Interface with brand managers, customer graphic houses regarding repro and suggest alternatives within the machines capabilities Oversee and ensure the printing processes are maintained (administration and machine) Ensure there are sufficient print skills with the plant in line with market needs Control of key suppliers To lead improvements in productivity, cost reduction and technical capability Instruct crews and be capable of increasing their print skills in line with market needs To learn the machines control system to a level where you are recognised as leading the problem solving team Ensure effective customer relations Recommended Personal Profile Academic qualifications Degree in Economics or Engineering or other relevant qualificationor relevant experience Professional experience High level of experience and understanding of Flexo water based print. Colour management knowledge. Expertise in the latest plate making technology (HD, FTD).
