This position will operator Empire’s slitting machines.
The slitter operator will load the slitting machine was a large roll of film, set blades to cut, change blades when necessary, unload smaller rolls of film, and place smaller rolls on a pallet or into cartons. This position requires upped body strength, the ability to stand all day, maneuver heavy material serveral times a day, maintain a specified rate and lift approximately 45 lbs.
This is a full time permanent position working 2nd shift (3:30 to midnight) either working Tuesday thru Saturday or Wednesday thru Sunday.
Steel toed shoes, safety glasses and pre-employment drug screen for the selected candidate are required.
Selected candidate must be able to train on 1st shift for 2 to 3 weeks.
