Print Finisher – London
PLEASE NOTE: If you do not have previous experience in the print industry your application will not be considered As an experienced print finisher you will be working within the production environment and responsible for all aspects of the finishing process to ensure production output continually meets specified quality standards within the agreed timescales. A strong and proven background in print finishing and the ability to hit the ground running is essential, with a valid licence in reach and counter balance truck being desirable. You: – Experienced Machine Operator, list of machines: Duplo Guillotine 660, Duplo Cutter Crease/Slitter, Morgana UFO Folding Machine, Accufast FT Tabbing Machine, Foliant Mercury 400 SF, Foliant Gemini C400, Mitamax – To have a good understanding of numeracy and measurements – To be able to communicate, both internally and externally – Upon full training by a competent person you should be able to use and change the guillotine blade when required – Upon full training: Fork lift operation, daily maintenance and record keeping – Liaise with carriers and couriers – Be capable of using our in-house System – Be capable of running additional production machines and equipment when required – Take deliveries and assist with the despatch of work – Picking, packing boxing & processing any fulfilment orders & making sure they are completed at a high standard – Completing daily work sheets and working to set deadlines – Ensure all mailsort bagging is tagged with the right service of postage and codes including cage cards – General warehouse work including cleaning work stations daily, keeping warehouse tidy and in line with Health & Safety Regulations – This position involves some lifting up to 30 Kilos.
