One of the UK’s leading carton manufacturers is recruiting! Working in partnership with SLS Recruitment, they are looking to recruit a Flexo Label Printer to join their team in Crewe, Cheshire. Within this role your primary responsibilities will include (but not be limited to): Setting up Gallus press with a scantec vision system according to company guidelines for each job. Mount plates, set up and breakdown jobs. Get the very best out of the technology supplied to you and deliver continuous improvement in terms of quality and productivity. Demonstrate personal initiative and good team skills. Keep work area clean and organised to produce quality labels in a timely manner. Perform routine press maintenance, upkeep and cleaning. To be considered a successful candidate for this position, you must have a strong background in water based and UV printing onto papers and synthetics. Previous experience in the label industry is essential to this role as my client requires someone who can hit the ground running with no training. Previous experience operating flexo label printing machinery is highly beneficial. This position covers Day shifts on a Double Days basis (12 hour shifts). There is a basic salary on offer of £21,944 15% shift allowance taking the total package up to £25,235. There is also 25 days holiday bank holidays and a company pension scheme.
