Responsible for meeting production and sales target as per business plan. Review and analyzes reports from plant and initiate corrective action in case of non conformity.Maintain effective communications within the different departments including customer and supplier.Closely monitor the customer requirement and take suitable steps (removing bottlenecks) to meet them.Review operating cost and profitability.Responsible for plant operation, IR & administration, safety, commercial aspects and domestic sales.Production / Operations:- Managing & control, Machine -Material & man power as per rolling plan to Optimized the production.Look after various processes in CRM production (i.e. cold rolling, Bright Annealing, CTL Pickling, HR slitting & rewinding).Maintain quality, quantity of product & try to achieve production target.Responsible for quality production at 6 Hi, Cold rolling Mills, push pull pickling line, CR Slitters and roll shop.Integrating the resources for effective operation management & result oriented planning.Maintain consumptions with in budgeted norms (like oil consumption, work roll consumption, back up roll consumption, store consumption, yield).Working on ERP System (coil entry , indent , MRS )Follow up for indent with coordination of purchase deptt.Follow up for salvage diverted C.R. in prime grade.Co-ordination with mechanical & electrical person for smooth running of Mill to optimize the production.Decide the pass schedule of different grade of steel & their relative activities.Analyze the performance and delay report for the better utilization of mill.Keen understanding of the implementation and documentation formalities for ISO 9001.Process Improvement- Analyzing processes/applications and recommending modifications to enhance operational efficiency. Follow up of material / spares with purchase department & supplier.Grinding: 6hi Skin pass mill rolls.Responsible for smooth functioning of entire Cold Rolling Division Operations so as to achieve all Business Targets in terms of Production with requisite quality, on-time deliveries & Profitability. Machinery includes 6 Hi cold rolling mill, skin pass mill, Bell Annealing furnaces, C. R. Slitting and Cut to Length lines. Plant Maintenance : -Maintenance of Pneumatic Systems., Hydraulic systems, annealing furnaces EOT cranes 3T to 3OT Cap., H.R. Slitter Pickling ,6Hi mills C.R. Slitter CTL & Nitrogen Plant.Project :-Erection & Commissioning of C.R. 6 Hi mills, H.R. Slitters, Pickling Line etc.In addition to above Experience for preventive & schedule Maintenance & to make there history record, & prepare record as per Requirements of ISO 9000 standards & also responsible for production improvement and store purchase control.Production Planning:Steering the operations of the entire plant and achieving production target. Spearheading a gamut of tasks pertaining to demand requirement of customer. Developing new process concepts for production optimisation, yield improvement and developing guidelines for the sequencing of manufacturing activities. Preparing CAPEX budget through SAP for organisations growth. HR Training of Manpower for regular operation of Cold Rolling Mill units and in Technical Competence. Faculty for Cold Rolling Technology.Quality Management: Implementing TS 16949, ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001 Quality Systems. Ensuring adherence to the quality standards to streamline and standardise work flow; overseeing implementation of various stages of workflow using quality tools. Production engineering activities: Low cost automation projects to enhance productivity.Participate in procurement process of Capital equipments & Special Purpose Machines etc.Design & vendor development of new products.Industrial Engg. activities like time study, motion study, production norms calculations & negotiations, working out consumption norms for consumable commodities & monitoring the same by periodical audit
