Our high volume cardboard packaging manufacturer has a vacancy for an experienced printer / printer slotter / case maker / rotary die cutter. You will produce final packaging solutions, including print (four colour process) and case making, to the companys required standards and specifications using appropriate machinery and equipment. Responsibilities of Cardboard Printer Slotter: - setting up a variety of medium and high speed case-making equipment - changing dies, inks, and cutters as required - operating fast-moving packaging-making machines, to maintain output against schedule - making any necessary adjustments to machinery or processes to ensure that the required product quality is maintained - loading sheet blanks, to ensure continuity of production - clean and maintain machinery, equipment, and work areas to ensure proper functioning and safe working conditions. - inspect materials and products for defects, and to ensure conformance to specifications. Qualifications / experiences of Cardboard Printer Slotter: - must have in-depth practical knowledge of the operating and setting of automatic or semi-automatic printer slotters - experience with flexo process printing - this is in no way a trainee role applicants should be able to demonstrate a significant work history in this industry - when applying, please mention the exact machines you are most familiar with setting and operating Hours: This will be a split-shift role, with the possibility of nights.
