My Client is an international company that specialise in the production of flexible packaging. They have an exciting opportunity for a technical specialist to join their production team. Key Responsibilities: Working in partnership with different departments to deliver Quality, Technical and Production analysis. Working in partnership to develop improvements and roll out to team members to understand and implement. Examination of raw materials and finished products. Investigation and prevention of technical production issues. Delegate responsibilities within team and monitor progress What you need: Experience in flexible packaging production Knowledge of various print processes (gravure/flexo) Confidence in preparing analytical data Quality driven Desire to develop and learn Clear and concise in information delivery Be a problem solver with a logical and method driven approach. Fabricator The manufacture of various Grafoil products from Grafoil sheet and laminate materials.Fabricators may be required to work from work copies and are required to maintain the identification of the various lots of Grafoil material and to handle the material carefully throughout all operations. 1. Operations of all Grafoil fabrication equipment such as hot rolls, measuring stands, sheeter, bandsaw, slitter, tape corrugators, shredder, pill press, narrow roll slitter, slitter re-winder and hot press, roll coaters and laminating lines. 2. Use of scales to weigh-sort Grafoil sheet material into prescribed weight categories. 3. Application of glue to sheet material. 4. Use of rulers, micrometers, and SPC recording to check quality of material and products. 5. Data entry work on the computer. 6. Maintenance of all written records required in the execution of the job. 7. The responsibility for maintaining quality output by checking this output and initiating any adjustments or action required. 8. The responsibility for reporting maintenance requirements on the equipment used. 9. The responsibility for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the work area. 10. The responsibility for working in a safe manner and following all HS & EP regulations, policies and procedures. 11. It is, of course, understood that in every instance this person is expected to perform a full eight hours work per shift.In the event supervision is unable to schedule eight hours of work in this classification each day due to work load and production schedules, this person will be required to perform miscellaneous work as requested by supervision. Skills 1. High school diploma or GED 2. The ability to interpret and understand written and verbal instructions. 3. Operation of material handling equipment in the movement of stock and supplies. 4.
