Controls Engineer - Sandy, Bedfordshire Salary 34-45,000 + pension Our client produces quality slitter reminders, unwind and rewinds, and associated converting equipment for the UK market and worldwide. The Company needs a Controls Engineer that will have responsibility for Conceptual design, Electrical circuits, Bill of Materials, Software, Testing and Commissioning. The position involves a wide range of skills including electrical circuit design, variable speed and servo drives, PLCs and HMIs. There is a considerable amount of software content and you should be able to plan and implement complex programs covering a wide range of tasks. Both positions involve travel and you much be able to travel freely within the EU. You must enjoy a challenge, and work well both on your own and in a small team. Opportunities exist for the right people to take a strategic part in the future development and management of the Company.
