Multi Skilled Engineer – Flexo/Rotogravure – Lancashire/A£35k My client are a packaging manufacturer, who have been very well established as a market leading company for more than 50 years. They are looking to add a multi skilled engineer (with a strong electrical bias) to their team based North of Manchester, in Lancashire. Within this role, you will work 36 hours per week across three 12 hour shifts, covering Monday 7am to Sunday 7am. Your primary responsibilities within this role will be to fix machine breakdowns, carry out machine maintenance and make continuous improvements to the machinery to reduce downtime. To be considered for this role, you will have a proven background in a similar role as an engineer within a print/packaging company. You should have a strong background working with Flexo presses and Rotogravure machinery and have a high level of electrical knowledge. You will ideally have some knowledge of Siemens Step 7 and be familiar with AC and DC Drives. You will come from a continuous improvement culture and be a hard working, flexible individual. This role is offering a salary set at A£35,500 per annum. However, there is a lot of opportunity for overtime and other engineers in the organisation have averaged over A£40k per year.
