Our clients serves major blue chip organisation who operate with some of the world’s leading brands and following considerable client growth are looking to strengthen their team of Account Managers. The role involves direct interface with blue chip clients. The successful applicant will require good communication, project management skills and drive to deliver value to our customer focused service teams. The role also involves receiving and managing client briefs though a dedicated team of artwork and repro operators, planning and organising the day-to-day workload for the client. You must have strong knowledge of print production, and be an enthusiastic and a motivated team player. Responsibilities will include the attendance at client review meetings, conference with printers and creative agencies and on-going dialogue with all interested parties up until the successful completion of projects. IMPORTANT Applicants must either be from Labels, Packaging or Packaging Repro sectors Maintain day-to-day relationship with client by proactively managing client expectations as it relates to regular project activity Book in new customer briefs amends, ensuring daily deadlines are met by liaising with Studio Manager Obtain and enter PO information and sign off proposed invoice list monthly, to ensure prompt invoicing and/or ensure that booked in jobs contain correct pricing figures and PO numbers where appropriate Manage proposed invoice list monthly, to ensure prompt invoicing Liaise with Finance Department as needed to ensure account is up-to-date and help resolve issues as appropriate Ensure high standard of quality of briefing by keeping it clear and concise Seek out new and strategic opportunities within the existing account to meet forecast and stretched sales targets Support the sales team in researching and communicating opportunities for business development. Provide insight to client’s needs and dynamics as requested by management team Handle incoming telephone calls where necessary ensuring that the customer’s needs are dealt with. Deputise for peers when on holiday/out of office in regards to managing the customers needs Support the team in building an exceptional relationship with the customer Provide the customer with a friendly, honest and reliable point of contact by speaking to them directly by telephone, e-mail or by face-to-face Qualifications / Requirements Previous experience in sales or as an Account Manager required Strong organisational skills, detail-oriented Organisational, interpersonal and communication skills Familiarity with the use of computers Superior listening skills High tolerance to pressure Highly adaptable Flexible and diplomatic In-depth understanding of various print processes/substrates, especially flexography, familiarity with flexo print tool manufacturing process Personal Performance Factors Integrity/Ethics - deals with others in a straightforward and honest manner, is accountable for actions, maintains confidentiality, supports company values, and conveys good news and bad.
