Reporting to the Flexo Supervisor, the successful candidate will be responsible for printing paper, film and board on a W & H Flexographic CI 10 colour press, meeting the planned output for quality, volume and yield to customer requirements and specification. Applicants will ideally have proven experience of Flexo printing, have excellent interpersonal skills, a flexible attitude and concern for standards. You should also demonstrate a desire to continually improve both process and personal development. You will need to be educated to GCSE level in Maths and English, grades A-C or equivalent and ideally have a recognised vocational qualification. The position is a 12 hour flexible working shift pattern to meet customer led demand and is salaried with a remuneration package commensurate with experience and qualifications, circa A£30 – A£35k STRICTLY NO AGENCIES PLEASE! Repro Operator Peterborough A£26k My client is a leading packaging supplier to the FMCG industry. They require a Repro Operator / Artworker with experience of repro for print and packaging. If you have experience within packaging managing repro for flexo, litho and wide web print then that would be a bonus. Responsibilities: Provide timely artwork/repro provision for customers inclusive of suppliers and retailers, within studio procedures, whilst being very mindful of quality of artwork/repro and Customer satisfaction. Ensure that changing processes/procedures that relate to your specific field of expertise are documented in a timely fashion and communicated to all concerned (written and coached). Support Studio Management team to set and maintain studio workflows on the work above while maintaining a level of good housekeeping both Studio and Studio Systems/equipment. Suggest and support implementation of systems/procedures to help maintain and improve customer satisfaction. Support general Studio output as specific account responsibility/capacity allows, while maintaining self discipline and a positive work ethic. Experience/Knowledge: Know the studio processes and policies. Know who the internal/external customers are and what their expectations are and understand their processes in this area. Communicate effectively. Exhibit and use coaching skills. Have a working knowledge of studio and prepress processes/tools across all commonly encountered pack formats.
