Brief job description:

1. Operate slitting line including proper set-up of arbors, over-arms, etc., and input coil length and piece count information.
2. Maintain all aspects of product quality including selection and appearance of material, dimensional tolerance, weight, piece count, and all pre-process, in-process, and post-process inspections.
3. Report production data.
4. Assist with handling quality issues.
5. Communicate with other areas on changes to scheduling, processing, etc.
6. Report machine malfunctions and assist the maintenance area with non-routine or major repairs, as needed.
7. Operate lift truck and packaging equipment, as required.
8. Perform all functions in a safe and efficient manner and report any problems or hazards to the supervisor.
9. Special projects and other job related duties as assigned.

Additional information:
Ability to read a micrometer, caliper, and tape measure.

• Intermediate level math skills, mechanical skills, and computer skills.
• Must be able to take and pass a math test and pre-employment drug test.
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
