Graphic Designer

We have a new vacancy for a Graphic Designer reporting to the Design and reprographics manager, based at our Grange site. The role will ensure that design briefs are processed and implemented in a timely and creative manner while developing aesthetically pleasing packaging solutions for the needs of the business and it's customers. Main responsibilities include: - Providing a creative, innovative, quality, proactive, timely and efficient Graphic Design Service for Huhtamaki UK's total operation - Producing high-level cup and marketing literature, artwork designs, mock ups and graphic visuals to best showcase the credentials of the business. - Delivering projects in a timely manner by coordinating studio activity with the needs and requirements of the business. - To support to any internal departments including Huhtamaki Group Company and the Gosport Marketing department for any projects requiring graphical support and creative flair. - To escalate problems/issues arising to the Technical Manager in an appropriate and timely manner. - To become a key player in the site total business - To be fully competent in the use of Adobe CS products and by being so: The successful candidate will have the following:- - Be qualified to degree level or equivalent in an Design related discipline - Preferably a minimum of 1 year in a Design Environment. - Be ideally experienced in the designing artwork for the Flexo and Dry-Offset printing process's - Must be a competent Adobe C/S user - A reasonable level of sketch presentation would be an advantage You will be a self motivated, team player with a methodical approach and excellent attention to detail. In addition to presenting a professional image of the Huhtamaki Organisation and New Product Development Department through appearance, dress code and self-conduct The Graphic Designer will also ensure that all interactions with the function are professional, responsive, efficient and courteous.
