A unique opportunity has arisen to join one of the largest independent corrugated sheet plants in the country, which offers cost-effective, creative and environmentally sound packaging solutions. The main duties and responsibilities of the role are: A EMBA machine operator incorporating print (four colour process) and casemaking A Liaise with other managers to plan overall production activity, daily manufacturing activity, maintenance activity, sets quality standards and estimates timescales and costs A Manage production to ensure that orders are completed to an agreed date and conform to customer requirements and other requirements A Oversee supervision of the production line and its staff, ensures targets are met A Arrange for regular inspections of EMBA machinery and equipment to detect wear or deterioration. Skills, qualifications and experience required: A Experience with flexo process printing A Ability to operate EMBA machinery and to comply with health and safety regulations A A Degree in Engineering A Ability to safely lift and carry heavy items A Good general understanding of health and safety/working safely A Previous experience as a Production Operative in a packaging manufacturing environment would be desirable Closing date for applications - 11/06/13 FitzgeraldHR is acting as an agent in relation to this vacancy.
